Battle of Trafalgar Chess Set
This stunning, hand-painted stone-and-resin chess set was designed and developed under licence from the National Maritime Museum. It features Nelson and Lady Hamilton, as well as Nelson's senior staff with cutlass, cannon, sextant and telescope details, and capstans standing in the corners of the board. An army of ratings are ready to ram home the cannonballs and take the fight on. "Every individual appeared a hero", according to Vice Admiral Collingwood, and that is exactly how they are portrayed in this set.

Nelson (King) height 140mm (5.5").

We offer this set with the large (50cm) grey high-gloss board as pictured - most suitable for permanent display - or in a convenient presentation boxed set with a folding walnut and sycamore veneer board for more convenient storage. Simply select your preferred packaging below.
