Nelson Fine Bone China

Exquisite Detail on Fine Bone China

This beautiful range of fine bone china has been commissioned to commemorate the bicentenary of Admiral Lord Nelson's victory at the Battle of Trafalgar. The detail draws inspiration from the finest collection of Nelson memorabilia in the world, held at the National Maritime Museum at Greenwich. The paintings, Nelson's own signature and his coat of arms are used by special permission of the museum's director. The elaborate scrolls are derived from the decorative stern gilding and upper deck trelliswork on HMS Victory, the anchor motif is from the coat buttons of the uniform Nelson wore at Trafalgar. All gold-coloured elements of the design are made from 22ct gold. This beautiful range is handmade in Stoke-on-Trent, England, and offers superb quality in beautiful china.
