Handpainted Nautical Chess Set
This magnificent chess set evokes the tradition of the contest between man and the sea - an ideal addition to the sailor's home. The Master Mariner makes a King of untold experience, while the Mermaid lures the opposition into the Queen's alluring trap. The bishop is a wise old Son of the Sea, conjuring up stories of sea spouts, water snakes and terrible storms. The Seahorse is a roaming Knight of the Ocean, whilst the Lighthouse warns of imminent danger at the corner of the board. The Fleet of Pawns speedily races into an impressive battle.

The Master Mariner (King) is 5.25" (13cm) high.

Our price includes the blue 50cm board (2"/5cm squares), as shown in the large picture.

Price:   £249.99 (Including: VAT at 17.5%)
